Go through your Steam Discovery Queue. Each time through, you'll earn three stickers, up to nine total.
You can find the queue on the homepage, or any tag or genre page. Click here(store.steampowered.com) to visit your queue and get started.
how exactly you "go through" it? I navigate the games there, even visit each game store but haven't got the stickers (0 of 9)
On the explore page, there's a glowy rectangle that says "Explore Your Discovery Queue, Click to open your queue of top-selling, new, and recommended titles". Click that.
Once open, you'll start seeing game videos/screenshots. On the right side there's a right arrow button. Spam the right arrow button and you'll eventually hit a page that says "You've reached the end of this Discovery Queue." There's a Done and a Continue button. Hit the Continue button.
Repeat the above twice more and you should see at the end that it says you have earned all 9 stickers.

I had to do it four times. First time through I got 0 of 9 stickers, second was 3 of 9, third was 6 of 9 then finally the last time 9 of 9.
also if you accidentally click off it (which I did) the count resets to 0 of 9 even though you might already have some stickers. You can check if you have them here (while logged in):

same here, the first time didnt count.
Well that was the worst 3 discovery queues I've ever seen. Half the games were 'popular' stuff I don't want. The other half were dismal indies in genres I've never shown interest in before. Usually I wishlist a few things when I do a queue but these three runs were pathetic. I don't need more crap for my backlog anyway. I went through my entire wishlits for the sale and only bought the one thing I was really waiting to go on sale, a DLC.
What can we do with these stickers again pls?
I don't seem to be able to set them as avatar?
