I don't know the difference between this (ICE-100PCXA) and the silver model (ICE-100BCXA).

https://www.food.com/recipe/ben-and-jerrys-vanilla-ice-cream… - this is a great recipe for ice cream which uses whole eggs (not just the yolk)

    • Raw egg seems odd

    • I reckon ice cream tastes better without egg

The previous $50 kmart one was found to be very good.

    • Absolutely. All three of mine work great.

    • Kmart's bowl volume is 500ml only, not big enough for the whole family. If it has a bigger, then perfect.

    Anko does the same thing

    • Same thing at a fraction of the price of this Cuisinart

Seems to no longer be available?

Correct, the Kmart Anko one was on clearance at $49, well and truly sold out.
I bought one myself (Anko), but, it OzB style, haven't used it yet.

        • Yes, $49. Delivered free with OnePass.
Up to 365d to return (if still subscribed).
…Might use it in that time😄

      • Got one two weeks ago from a random kmart i popped into, i think some still have some but wont show up online

    • Does it have a compressor?

  • Great price for the compressor model. I have the cool scoops plus (on sale @ Amazon for $159) and it makes good ice cream but have to keep the bowl in the freezer which is annoying.

  • Bought. Thanks OP!

ChatGPT says ICE-100PCXA and the silver model (ICE-100BCXA) are the same, other than colour

  • Thanks OP, have been eyeing off these for ages. Purchased. Excellent deal.

  • Thanks for the share. Been eyeing the Breville one for a while and was close to committing $400+ for it. Got this one instead.
