iPhone 15 Pro (256GB) vs iPhone 16 (256GB)

My current iPhone 8 is almost dying so was looking for a new Apple iPhone 15 Pro (256GB) but I cannot find it anywhere now.

So I am thinking to get new iPhone 16 (256GB) for $1405 (after price-beat from OW with Costco). I am hoping thats the best price for it currently?

I am ok with 256GB storage.
Camera is important but I guess iPhone 16 cam is not too bad compared with iPhone 15 Pro.

    I prefer that too bu unfortunately, I cannot find the new one (256gb) and JBHifi/HN/Amazon has 512gb for $214x

  Hold your cash for the incoming iphone 17 pro this Sep, as they will provide totally different an d distictive design from previous gen ( 14,15 16 models) and make you stand out among all users. Besides 17 pro and pro max will be upgraded with latest 48 mega pixel telesphoto lenses whi improved so much in taking scenese in distance.

  Even you still prefer standard 17 model, the rumored 120HZ fresh rate as stadndard feature , in contrast to exclusive to pro models, would also worth a few months' waiting

  I was tossing up between 15 Pro & 16 for my wife. Bought the 16 for $1599 using 5% off gift cards and cash back.

  She is very happy with the 16

  Do you need 120hz ProMotion display? -> 15 pro

  Don't care about 120hz ProMotion? -> 16

  The only catch would be trying to find a new15 pro 256, from what i can see it seems like you can only get refurbs at this stage.

    exactly as much as I want to buy new 15Pro, its not available.

  Apple generally discontinues old flagship models when the next generation launches. Doubt there’s much new stock for the Pro 15 at this point
