  • As mentioned last post by BargainsGrabber it's cheaper with code HONEY10 - $764.10 delivered.

Why don't OzB members deserve the cheapest code?

HONEY10 doesnt work on this. Also this is the newly released laser engraver, not the one from the post you mentioned.

I took a screenshot at the time of commenting in case anyone said it didn't work.

Thanks cheaper above as per screenshot with code

Thanks for the cheaper code. HONEY10 still works as of this comment.

      • You have to remove the mystery box that gets auto added to the cart for the HONEY10 code to work.

I can confirm THAIHONEY code doesn't work 😜

I'd be wary of getting this laser engraver as its newly released and there arent many mainstream reviews from the likes of auroratech. One instant con I can see here is no honeycomb plate and none available for this engraver on their website.

  • Bought a Falcon2 pro 22W recently from eBay with the 20% off code for ~$1400. Before I even got to fire the laser the power brick died. Within 24hrs Creality had a new one DHL express shipped to me. Used it a few times over last weekend and it's pretty good. It's built well enough. You will want to vent to outside or buy a proper fume extractor as it creates a lot of wood smoke etc. The 150W Vevor unit off eBay for $300 is good enough for me but I don't do back to back production of stuff.

It's a diode laser. Don't expect to etch glass with it unless you use an etching paint. Also clear acrylics are a no go. Works great on plywood (laser ply from plyco is good). 10W would probably do 5mm thick in one pass. Works great on those anodised aluminium business cards.

You can buy honeycomb bases cheap from amazon/aliexpress. Just check the frame dimensions not the honeycomb area.

Edit: this looks like the same plastic used on the falcon2 pro (which is FDA approved for safety apparently). 100% buy an enclosed laser like this, even just because it's easier to fume extract.

    • 150W for $300! Far out, that's good. I got a Vevor badged K40 that blew up its PSU after about five minutes of laser time. That was before I found a few sites online saying "upgrade your PSU before using the K40!" Other than the awful PSU, it seems a decent machine.

  • Another non-deal? Mate, this is a bargain site, not for advertisement
