    Unlikely, Camels history goes back less than a month. It was $24.99 earlier in the month, but if you look at their other products and this same lamp from other stores it's clearly reduced by quite a bit.

    Can you do much with the controls on the unit? Ive been wanting a portable multicolour lamp but hate being locked into app control.

      you need the wiz app to enable matter support and if you want to use some of the colour changing scenes.

      Matter can only control power, setting colour, and brightness.

        Thanks i don't know what matter is but I've been wanting a multicolour lamp to replace an old one that broke bought 2 and set up today with the wiz app and they are awesome. For anyone interested the controls on the lamp are: on/off, dimmer slider, and a mode toggle switch to cycle through 4 lighting modes (which are programmable).

  is battery life on this really bad or is it just mine. charged fully and left on stand with the light off and battery indicator is already red in just a day

    Very bad. I returned mine the day after purchasing. Mustve been a faulty batch.
