So I just moved my mobile phones and NBN from Telstra to More using the Commonwealth Bank discount. As well as having Wi-Fi issues that I’m hoping they can eventually sort out I am having problems accessing my voicemails through the phone app on my iPhone. It turns out that I need a carrier that supports Visual Voicemail and More doesn’t. Can anyone recommend a carrier that does have this functionality but doesn’t charge as much as Telstra? Also open to options of swapping my NBN as well. I suppose it’s really true that you get what you pay for
What Carriers Have Visual Voicemail?

I am surprised Aldi offer visual voicemail!
They don't - they only have Live Voicemail - just like every other service provider on earth, because it's done by the phone (ios 17+) not by the carrier.
I don't use Visual Voicemail, but more.com.au is good, and their NBN service is cheap. There was a connection issue during the peak time, which they resolved promptly.
Optus does support Visual Voicemail.Visual voicemail is essential imo. So many people take it for granted today as a feature on their phone not knowing it actually relies in a service from their carrier too.
felix does.
This may not be what you're after but since you've said you have an iPhone, consider the following because it may make your need for carrier voicemail redundant:
Apple rolled out a feature in one of the recent major iOS versions called Live Voicemail, which handles voicemail locally on your phone rather than being handled by your carrier (ie. 'traditional voicemail'). Live Voicemails appear in the same manner as Visual Voicemail does, with the added benefit of the voicemail being transcribed.
However, the main downside is that since your iPhone will be intercepting and handling the voicemail locally, it does require the phone to be on. If the iPhone is off or out of range, the call will be sent to carrier voicemail instead.
Live voicemail does sound better, it would end the problem if trading phones with someone and getting each other's visual voicemails because it relies on the carrier's link to the phone and not your SIM card or on the phone itself.
Does anyone know of a similar feature on Android and its carrier support?
