Does anyone have this? Doesn't seem like you would use it that often unless you live next to one of the places? Also wary of the confusing wording…
If you don't live near a course, and that's a dealbreaker, then of course it's not a good deal for you. For me, I live within 30km of 6 courses that charge at minimum $35-50 per round. So if you ONLY took advantage of this, it's worth it. Simulator would be nice to have.
damn, i would love to get this membership, but this is only really good if you are retired.
a lot of courses near me have no vouchers available for weekend and holidays.
availability is after 12pm during the week.
not good especially when daylight savings hits and it gets dark at 4:52pm
during the summer i love to go out at sunrise so i beat the heat and be done before lunch and peak heat.make sure you check if the golf courses near you work with your availability to golf:

great deal if you can maximise it, comes out to be $20 a round if you use all 12
I got this at the start of the year with a similar deal (only had a 30$ Drummond voucher then 🥲) and I've used 4 round vouchers already. As mentioned before, most courses charge $50+ now for 18 rounds on a weekend so this'll pay itself off pretty quickly. Its a good method to get you out there, exploring courses and testing your skill at them.
If you need a way to get / maintain a handicap this is pretty cheap. The events are pretty fun, and the ability to get a few free rounds makes this a deal if you use it.
If you don't use it then of course it's not a great deal.
My closest three mates all have it, they like getting around to a variety of courses. But with multiple kids I’m OUT for anything too far away
for any golfers out there, is there a place in victoria to learn golf? I am new to golf and want to learn. any help will be much appreciated
Just go to a decent course that has a local pro and get some lessons.
Where are you located? There are beginner/introduction courses that usually run beginning of the year. It may be too late for you to sign up. You can look at nearby clubs and ask if they're running a beginner's clinic. Otherwise, get weekly lessons with a pro.
Depends where you live. If closer to city, then Yarra Bend has an excellent driving range (with screens/tracking) and a coaching set up with multiple pros to access at varying rates.
thanks for the advice. i'm based in south east of Melbourne
Has anyone played Redcliffe golf club using this? It doesnt appear here:
https://futuregolf.com.au/partners/However it appears on another section of FG's website.
I recently joined the addict membership (50% off). Access to the prestige courses makes it worth it for me, plus the better Drummond voucher and an under armour polo. Up until recently they a referral code bonus as well. Happy to split the referral bonus if anyone wants my code, will make it better value. Just pm me
Not VW?
