  • Seems JQ7994 has aborted. 7992 attempting now

    • 1500ft! Can he do it!?

      • Nope

        • QF6416 is up next

          • @motkarma: It will be super unstable. I'm guessing a missed approach.

QFA6116 from YSCB also inbound for a crack.

            • @MS Paint: 44kt wind gusts from 110degrees. Crazy (skilled?) pilots…

          • @motkarma: They didnt even try.

            • @twobit: Way to unstable even at 5nm out. Just giving it a go so the passengers don't feel ripped off.

              • @MS Paint: We will have QF6036 (MEL to BNE) to watch out for and as a bonus there is JQ8990 (MEL to OOL).

JQ7998 from SYD to BNE has taken off from Sydney but looks like they're turning around at Newcastle.

              • @MS Paint: QF6116 turned around at gold coast..

                6036 too at tamworth.

                • @twobit: They did the crosswind calculation and made the right decision.

                • @twobit: YSSY curfew in 70 minutes. No time to f$#k around if that's their alternate.

                  • @MS Paint: JST7996 doing a Hold pattern around GC

                    • @twobit: Diverting to Cooly. Losing altitude in the pattern.

                      • @MS Paint: Landed first go. Hope the passangers get to Brissy ok tomorrow.

                        • @twobit: I'm guessing it was empty. Just a repositioning flight.

    Why? People are weird.

  • +1

Are they flying in toilet paper? Asking for a friend.

    • +4

No but the passengers onboard will definitely need some.

    • Planes in for tomorrows flight outs was the media reports…

  • JUST SEND IT BOYS

  • JQ7996 diverting to OOL.
