        Yes good add! (I also left out that the neti pot water should ideally also be pre-boiled or distilled water in order to avoid brain-eating amoeba)

    does it work with a solar gen battery though? most can't handle the volts a kettle puts out.

        He's probably asking if portable battery can support this kettle.

        Anyway, if the battery is able to handle "Rated Power 1850 - 2200W" then it should be fine?

    I want to get this for my mum but shes only likes using full steel kettles including the outter, would anyone think this is a safe kettle to use in that sense?

      Since this is double wall kettle with a steel interior, then this is safe. The water will only ever be in contact with steel, and never with plastic.
      The plastic outer shell might not be as attractive as a nice brushed metal, but you will never get burned as you might with a single wall steel kettle.

    I bought this for $60 using a first member trial a while ago, AMA.

    I have no major complaints so far, I tested 80 and 90 degrees with a thermometer when it first arrived and it was within a few degrees. The stainless steel interior is really nice but gets scale pretty fast (I guess that's the same for every kettle).

    There aren't many options for white kettles with stainless interiors, and even fewer with temperature control, and no other one at this price!

    Nitpicks:
    - The below 100 degree settings take longer, it seems to partially boil and cool a few times before beeping
    - The below 100 degree settings automatically go onto a "keep warm" mode after boiling, and I sometimes forget to deactivate it
