Nothing than joy ends in disappointment, you thought you received a lens as gift, turns out it's a cup…

So true. Got one on Christmas day from my wife. I was so excited for 5 secs. And then I realised the cruel joke played on me… Had to drink 12 beers and a bottle of red to feel better once again.

      • Did you at least use the mug to drink those beer???

        • Yes. Won't use it for anything else except drinking beer.

    • It's… AUTHENTIC!!!

      • Yeah ordered this one,for 12.50 at least this one has canon cap will match with my 5d kit, good use as pen /pencil box

at $5 this was a bargain, $15 not so much

meh. a pop-up shop at Castle Towers was selling these stainless steels for $10 (plastics for $5) just before xmas.
    no deal.

  • How is the stability of these things? The base is much narrower than the body so it can't be that great I wouldn't think.

    • It gets knocked over easily if you're not careful.

Should be alright on a proper lens mount!

Could send one to the amateur Gerry Harvey engraved with:
"I got mugged by those OzBargain Professionals"

Please edit the tile, this is not a "CANON" cup, it's a "CANIAM zoom lens" cup, it shows in the first product picture.

      oppa "caniam" style!Success guaranteed!

      • When I read your comment thought it was "gangnam style" for a sec.

  • Still sitting in the cupboard. Used once or twice and then the novelty wore off.

    • Impulse purchases are great aren't they?

    • Haven't used yet and still in the cupboard. Dont know why i through away the box. Could have been a good xmas gift for someone with a cannon camera.

  • I still havent used mine…

    • I used mine heaps. Brought it to uni and work, really enjoyed seeing people's reactions when they see me drinking out of a zoom lens.

      • I notice the word 'used' and not 'use', implying the novelty has worn off and no longer used?

        • Swapped the mug for a bigger one, this one was too small and it spilled easily.

          Wait, what?

Bought 2 last time around, did nothing with either (infact think 1 is still in auspost satchel). Worst impulse purchase ever

    304 is 18/8 not 18/18…. sigh, I'm a massive nerd

  • +2

IM negging this deal….mainly because its not under Ozbargain rules…..( ITS ALWAYS THIS PRICE $15 )so NO DEAL… i bought one when they were $5 … then it was a deal….Plus the description in title is wrong the brand name is CANIAM not CANON

    • +1

Me too, I agree it is not a deal. I bought for $5.

  • I use my three heaps. using one right now as I drink my coffee next to the beach.

  • I forgot to say, I have been using this mug to drink my hot coffee, after a while it gives out a really funny smell… the mug has been more of a decoration on my table now than use of a mug…
