What ever happened to the classifieds? I remember a time you could pick up so many interesting things, these days it's discounted gift cards (and not that much discounted really), frequent flyer points (again not much of a deal) or airline lounge passes (way over priced for what you get). It is it just me?

When was this? IMO it's pretty much consistent in terms of listings- usually unwanted gift cards, phones and a few random things that pop up occassionally.
Don't forget that period of cheap belong data for sale when people jumped ship for other providers.

It's like asking what happened to forums now that there's Reddit and Discord…
Classifieds are good for selling OZB-specific things like QFF points and gift cards. For more mainstream stuff, you'll get a much larger audience on Marketplace.
Aren't they only there to provide forum content🤔
