just in time for the clean up in SEQ
If I can wait for the right price and I already have a thousand batteries, the 36v Ozito would be a better buy for super sporadic use, right? I just have no interest in pulling it out after a few months and spending an hour trying to get the bastard to start (like what I went through yesterday with my seldom used generator)
The 36V has enough grunt for occasional use, but the chain is junk. Needs replacing very quickly.
It chews batteries though, make sure you have plenty of 4AH+ size.
Any recommendation on a new chain? Have the 36v Ozito.
I love chains by Oregon. Have a look there. Make sure you match the profile and TPI.
@Sleepycat3: Don't know much about chainsaws. The Ozito manual refers to Chain file 3.96mm (5/32'), Chain pitch 9.53mm (3/8') and Chain gauge 1.1mm (0.043'). Is this the profile?
@BellaWii: Although I havent used it yet I spent a lot of time trying to find the right replacement - why the f bunnings don't sell them is beyond me !
Ended up with this one which looks to be the same specs

with a large 20" chain
Bar is 20", chain would be closer to 40"
Damn, that’s a cheap saw.
I have a Stihl MS381 with same length 20” bar, I think they used to go for over $1200.
But something tells me this is comparing chalk and cheese.
