    I have one.
About to look at warranty issue.
It's been awesome but I would not recommend

    • heard half of them need return for new one.

    • What's the issue keen to hear…? If you're willing to share?

      • Mainly 12 hour battery life. Regardless of how long you are away for, even with solar panel, it won't even last a day until it stops operating as it won't start again once depleted even if then fully charged by the solar.

I chose this over the Betta SE with 30hr battery life as it was a $200 price difference, as I thought Aiper would have some algorithm on battery use. The price difference is now under $100

The Remote control feature is also useless. If the unit is stuck you cannot use the remote to steer it as the propeller will not respond if it detects that there is something in the way. So you cannot even tell the unit to turn away (when reversing is also not an option) as there must be a safety feature to prevent people from being silly with it.

Right now I am having battery issues and there is something wrong with the default operation.

  • Ours is working well, though struggles with some of the larger palm leaves, if there is too many.

    • It does a very good job for the day of operation. I appreciated all the leaves and dirt it picked up with the 200 micron filter. Saved a bit on electricity in running a pump filter.

I was happy to set it up daily and have it charge overnight. Just unfortunate that it is useless if going away for more than a few days ie it'll only work for first day. Even if you setup routine to not run at night, the wireless connection, both wifi and by chews through the battery life

  • what’s the difference between this, scuba and seagull ranges? so confusing and aiper not bothered to make it clear

The Surfer series can only clean the surface of the water, and is used to remove debris such as fallen leaves on the surface of the water. It cannot dive into the water. The Scuba series is a wireless pool robot that cleans the bottom of the pool. Different models have different functions.

Mine died after 2 weeks (different model).

They wouldn't replace it during summer as the (low) stock was reserved for new sales.

Wow. Neg for this reason and also the above reason about not promoting the best price with available coupon codes.

    • Did you but it direct, through Amazon orn Pool and Spa Warehouse. I bought ours Pool cleaner from S & P. It was 1 week old, they exchanged it, no issues.

  • Curently cheaper on Amazon
$499 after 10% off code and $220 voucher
