I have one of these and it’s fun. Cheap for a fast car. This one has 3 batteries and ships from Hong Kong. I bought years ago from a different seller so can’t speak on this one.

Nice car, I have the same. Watch out as its so fast it is able to be damaged by crashing if not careful. Nothing against the car.
Was keen to buy it but at this price it's about $40 more than I paid for the 959B and apparently slower: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XnP0Jwe7_Cc
It's a bit bigger though which would be fun.
Absolutely agree about not underestimating just how quick this is. I think I notched a total of 5mins before a crash into a box kerb and snapping a strut.
Plenty of fun though.
Yeah my son drove it three times for 5 mins each and broke it each time. I returned it pretty quick. I got two mjx hyper go's and they're fantastic, just about indestructible
2nd the MJX Hyper Go. I got the 3S 16207 and my two boys the slower truggies just for mucking about in parks. Super fun and tough cars. We've thrashed them on skate parks, gravel tracks, short grass, wood chip playgrounds - crashing into each other and everything around.
I have one, fragile and falls apart. Fun when it ain't breaking.
I have the exact one. It’s a massive amount of fun. Don’t be tempted to use it in the street unless you are willing to pay for drive shafts and steering arms. It can take a hit, but yeah, it’s gets some speed up and gutters cause an abrupt stop.
Note: The below 7.4v 2600mah battery will be delivery in the randoom
That doesn't sound good.
I have a recollection of building one of these when I was younger, and then racing it etc.
Can you still buy one to build that works?
Check your local hobby shop stocks wltoys parts, think most will, good value with 3 batteries, may even be worth buying 2 at this price if you don’t have a spare, I race my son and not fun if one dies
I race my son and not fun if one dies
Understatement.
That's why you have a heir and a spare.
Sounds like fun. I need to fix up my old Tamiya Madcap though. That has a nice balance between speed and robustness. It won’t be as fast as this WLtoys one.
How long do the batteries last each round of play?
About 15 minutes, more likely to suffer a failure before getting through a change.
Great fun car! Yes, it breaks easily—not because it's fragile, but because it’s likely to hit things at high speed. We even had to buy new tires as they wore down and started to split.
This car actually got me into 3D printing, as it was probably the best way to make replacement parts. If you already own a 3D printer, this could be a great way to explore another hobby. If you don’t and are on the fence, this is one of the best use cases for getting one.
Other than parts, there are many mods available on Thingivers
Another point to consider is that there are brushless conversion options if you want to challenge yourself.
For cheap parts, you can buy two at this price and use one as a spare. It’s more cost-effective than purchasing all the parts individually.
Hey thanks for that advice. Been reluctant to jump on the 3D printing craze for the past few years but this sounds like a good reason. Like I said above, I have an old 90s car which I built from parts (kit), and might be able to print parts for that too. Where do you get all the models? I assume nobody sits for hours to draw up new accurate models in CAD of small parts?
Thingiverse, Makerworld and Printables are all repositories of various models; many people do indeed spend hours modelling parts since it will save a lot of time and money being able to print ten spares at once instead of buying them.
You can always go and bookmark some interesting models from each site now before you've even started on your 3D printing journey
Sold out? Cant add any
Ok but what’s the discount on it?
