    Big MES ?

    • Thank you for the reminder, JV.

      We’ve fixed it

  • Which state?

    • Our focus is on NSW

  • Beauty, ill email Address in Tasmania and pictures of switchboard for $4990 install.

    Oh NSW.

    • Hey Arsenal,

Apologies that we currently don’t offer services in Tasmania

      • +6

No apology needed, I don't think the Sun offers its services down there either so your efforts would be wasted.

        • No services are wasted when you are being paid for them, Strange as it may seem the Sun does say hello a number of times in this dark region making solar almost worthwhile.

          • @arsenal1: Just a lame joke. But you make a good point about considering subsidies and the like in the equation.

  • How does one access this deal on your website? I have a mate getting quotes and want to send it to him.

    • Feel free to contact us via email, phone call, SMS, or by submitting information through our website.

For those looking for their SAA number: S6019447 (I think?)

Although I would have preferred not to have had to go investigating for it if you show a SAA logo on your site.

    • Hello Namidairo,

You are correct regarding one of our team members.

The installer you are working with will also be SAA accredited.

  • Is there any rebate or benefits from NSW government for going solar atm? Cheers

    • Yes, there is a rebate called STC (Small-scale Technology Certificates) offered by the federal governmen on Solar system.

Additionally, NSW also provides a separate battery rebate.

      Cheers

  • Was facing an issue submitting the enquiry for on your website so I've emailed it to you.

    • Our team has reviewed the website, and the submission page should be functioning properly now.

Additionally, we have responded to your email.

      Cheers!

  • Are these inverters compatible with a battery if we want to add that capability down the line?

Also would there be enough space for those panels on a duplex?

    • You can opt for the GoodWe battery in the future with the GE Hybrid 8.6-1p inverter, which is approximately $800 more.

Could you kindly send us your details via email? This will allow us to check if the duplex will be a suitable fit.

      Cheers!

  • Anyone know if it's more or less expensive (per kw) for higher kw panels? E.g is 24x485 or 28x415 cheaper to get 11.6kw

    • It really depends,

but the Jinko 415W will no longer be available for sale in Australia, whereas the 485W model has an expiry date of 2027.

As I understand it, GE is exiting the market. Is Goodwe definitely honouring the warranty?

Genuine question, I don't know one way or the other.

    • Hello Ruben,

      From GoodWe:
'We will continue to honor warranties and provide customer service.'

'The Manufacturer declares that GE-branded solar inverters including all on-grid and hybrid models listed above
come with a standard 10 years warranty if the product was successfully connected to GE monitoring system'

We believe GE still one of the top quality inverter on the market now.

      Cheers

  • Do you also provide AS/NZS compliance certificate?

    • AS/NZS 5033:2021

      • Hello,

We do not provide AS/NZS 5033:2021 compliance certificate,

But our installation adheres to the AS/NZS 5033:2021 guidelines,

        Thank you

    • How important should we consider this?

      • +1

The AS/NZS 5033:2021 standard captures some of the best practices for designing and installing PV systems. It becomes important especially when you have a string inverter (instead of microinverters) in your system. This is because in the case of string inverters, the DC voltage can be quite high (it can cause fire due to isolators, etc.) and you want to make sure that the installer has adhered to best practices when installing it. IMO, most of them won't provide a compliance certificate, but it is good to ask to make sure they are aware of it. Most cowboys won't know about it.

  • Sent an enquiry thanks

    • Thanks for the interest,

      We replied all the enquires,

      Cheers

  • Hi, We had 24 panels installed (6.6KW) five years ago, and we would like to upgrade to a maximum of 11-16KW. How much would you charge to support the upgrade, reinstall, or replace the existing panels, and possibly reuse them to maximize the total output? Please advise.

    • Hello Codel,

The cost will depend on the condition of your current system and the size of your roof.

For a 6.6kW system, you can expect to pay between $3500 and $4000.

While the removal itself costs $200, and this system is priced at $4990. In many cases, opting for a new system may be the best option.

Could you kindly provide more information to [email protected] for a more accurate quote?

      Best regards,

  • I got a 10.12kW system with 10kW GoodWe inverter with Canadian Solar panels for $4200 in January from another company before any gov rebates
