    They are not mutually-exclusive and each serve a different purpose.

    One is for evaporative cooling when it is hot and humid.

    One is for looking like a weirdo.

      I use mine at work to stop my incessant sweating after a lunch walk when it's anything over 25C out. So both options can make you look like a weirdo.

      Correct. It looks like the highest setting on this is about a mid setting on the similar model. I have the more powerful one and I rarely use it on top speed, though.

      This one is crap. That "stand" doesn't work because there is no stability and the exposed fan blade is terribly annoying in various situations.

    Have 1, they aren't a blower of course but for size, convenience, cost are a bonus to keep your face cool when it's scorching, I take to my jobs when they dont have a.c or fans there, so can recommend. I paid $17 ages back
