They are stretchy and thin, not really intended to be worn on its own. I use them as undershirts.
i think they are quite strectchy. I did go for S size while I wear M for their cotton T shirt.
Chest is too hairy for these. Pass for me but good deal

Is anyone aware of an inexpensive ($10-$15) v-neck T-shirt that's not 100% cotton and decent quality?

These are the best shirts in the world if you are heat sensitive. Literally the only shirt I will wear at home during summer.
Can be used as a normal shirt for going out too but your nipples will show. Black might be better for that.
