Hisense 65" Q6NAU 4K QLED Smart TV

Is this Hisense still the best under $1000 65 inch QLED?

I'm in the market currently for a new 65 INCH TV coming from FFALCON 65 inch which had snappy Google interface but worked well while it lasted.

I keep seeing this Hisense on deals and was wondering if this is something that is value for money.

I have a home theatre room and I'm currently building and setting it up and would top it off with a projector and 120 inch screen. So don't want to spend much on the 65 inch TV for my living room which will be a daily workhorse.

Personally i'd go for a TCL at this price point. The Androidtv/Googletv experience sh1ts on Hisense's Viida.

I'm running a C745 from TCL as my secondary that i picked up for $400 from Marketplace and it does well - would happily get the next one up (C845/855)

My main TV is a Hisense Q8 - still goes strong but fark the Vidaa interface is sh1t

    • Makes sense mate ! I have had a little experience with the Vidaa OS on the Hi sense projector that I used in my cousin's place and it wasn't great but i was wondering if i can plonk a firestick or chromecast and use that instead of native OS

In terms of tech and display you still think TCL C845/855 is higher up than the Q6NAU?

      • You probably could use a firestick or chromecast, but for simplicity i prefer to have a complete package (1 remote to control everything) - especially when buying a new TV.

        • (1 remote to control everything)

My Shield remote also controls the TCL.

    • Hisense Q8

Haha I have the same TV! Picture quality is still awesome but I've noticed the menu system is getting a bit laggy, especially when running Youtube.

      Is yours behaving similarly?

Yeah, i mean it's better than my previous 2019 Android TV, but it's definitely starting to slow down. Still fairly useable though.

Just really have a distaste for Vidaa, even if the picture Quality is incredible for a 2022 TV.
