Dyson DC39 Animal $694 at Harvery Norman HighPoint VIC. Not Sure if It Is Nation Wide

Dyson DC39 Animal $694 at Harvery Norman HighPoint VIC. Expire on 13/01/12
Dyson DC39 Multifloor $498 at Harvery Norman HighPoint VIC. Cheapest in Australia I ever seen, even cheaper than the deal at TGG. Not sure the expiry date of this offer (I heard a sale rep was telling another customer the Multifloor model deal ends tomorrow 31/01/12).

Not sure if they are nation wide.

You can do a price match with Masters or Myer and using ING card for contactless payment to get 5% cheaper price (i.e. $659 and $473 respectively). And that what I will be doing tomorrow.

This is my first ever post. Hope it helps if someone is looking to buy a Dyson vacuum cleaner.

  • $694. What's their normal price?

    • $736 on their website atm. Normal price was ~$900 I think.

I did a bit of price crunching at the local HN & GG and got the Dyson DC-29 down to $415 and the Dyson DC-39 Animal down to $670.

You might want to try and get better than that.

  • Just bought this Saturday for $732 at HN Albany, WA. Will print this and hope they refund the difference. This is a BRILLIANT vac. I'd cleaned a few days before and the vile, putrid junk it sucked out of the loungeroom mat was shocking!

You DO know Dysons come with their own inbuilt dirt supply, right? I'm convinced they must do, as there's no way you could consistently pull so much gunk from the same piece of carpet. lol

Just in case if someone is interested on the massive discount on RRP for the Electrolux Ultra Active Bagless Vacuum Cleaner ZUA3861P. RRP 600+ and selling at around $500 in most shop.

HN selling the ZUA3861p at $268 at the moment but ticketed at high $400 in the shop. The sales person has tried to convince me that the price shown on the web may be an error because the lower model ZUA3821P is selling at $268 also; and their system still showing $400+ price for the ZUA3861p. But, she is willing to honour the offer.

As I have some spare GG gift card, it will be "perfect" if I can get GG to match price. GG Malaga failed to match HN price and has quoted that their cost price is $370. Tried GG Osborne Park and they have "reluctantly" match HN price .

Please note that I'm a new ozbargain member and is banned from submitting any new offer at the moment. I believe the ZUA3861p has the following advantages over the DC39
    - lower noise level
    - adjustable suction level on handle
    - ON/OFF control on the handle
    - Price

    Disadvantages over DC39
    - Heavier
    - less included tools
    - smaller bin?
    - Manoeuvre

    • Cheers. Your deal has been created. Good work.

      • Leave the cards for another purchase. I think its a good deal as it is.
One way to use the cards is to advertise an ipad on gumtree or ebay with choice of color. Once a deal is done meet them outside your local TGG that has stock. Get a person to talk to them while you go in and get his choice of colour hand it over and take the cash.

Godfrey's have a dog&cat bagless with powerhead for $99 on sale and the ZEN with powerhead for $299 (without powerhead for $199 which is awesome value) FYI… I cant recommend paying more but each to his own & while the dyson is nice it does not do a better job than the $99 dog&cat one from my expereince (besides pets should be outside and for naff pet owners who keep them indoors i say the owners should be kept outside, goldfish and buggies excepted)

  • The ING paywave 5% rebate is only available on purchases under $100 as paywave will not work if the purchase is over $100.

    • Which is why you split it into $99 transactions… which I did with my Television.

      • You Sir are a true OzBargainer. respect

Can you tell us how much the TV was? It'll only serve to enhance your OzB street cred!

        • It was $898 or something like that… just days before the "15% off store wide weekend", as per the OzB thread I went back and explained how bs I believe it was after being told "we can't do it any less etc etc" to end up getting it for around $760 (receipt value) - 5%
