      Create a new account, click thru CR and then cancel your old purchase for a refund.

      It's worked for me previously.

      You would need to use a different email with this PIA/CR offer to be considered a new PIA customer for cashback.

        I did this in October 2024 (wasn't free but still great deal).

        I simply logged into my existing PIA account and changed e-mail to my spare one.
        Then I I signed up again through CR using my original PayPal e-mail and got cashback.

        I was initially worried it wouldn’t work as I wanted to pay using PayPal, and that automatically uses that e-mail - same as original PIA subscription. Unless they've changed something at PIA end, this should still work.

    Hmm it seems PIA has protected their core security and privacy values even after being bought by Kape in 2019(hackread.com). They were audited by Deloitte(privateinternetaccess.com) who found they store no logs. They also provide a quarterly transparency report(privateinternetaccess.com).

      Yes, that's the only offer that's the closest match. I've contacted Cashrewards for clarification. Most likely a copy & paste error from a previous offer and Cashrewards didn't check. Will update this post when Cashrewards reply.

                      Unrelated to this, I had another query for CR and the automated reply says CR will be in touch within 17 business days. Wtf.
                      They send marketing emails everyday though.

    Tried to join Cashrewards using a referral, to get an extra $10 to cover the foreign exchange gap, and I get 500 Internal Server Error. Is anyone else getting that error?
