This is surely the cheapest WiFi 6 router?

I actually use this myself. works great using Plex, Synology and 20+ devices on a 250 down connection.

not bad for the price of lunch at nandos!

      There's no mention of EasyMesh in the manual but they do list it as compatible including on the instructions page

    AX1500 routers are basic and shouldn't be expensive. Mercusys is a sub-brand of TP-Link and they're both Chinese. Strangely they have a significant amount of trust among people compared to other Chinese brands.

    This one has security updates until 31/12/2027 or later* according to Mercusys and they encourage users to report vulnerabilities.

    This model and very few Mercusys routers are listed on OpenWrt
