    Doesn't appear to have a mail slot, so you'd still need a regular letterbox.
    (Yes, you could drop mail in it like a parcel, but Auspost standards are a mail slot.)

      Mostly, yes, but we could in rural NSW before I moved a few years ago. The old tea towel in the letter box flag for the postie to grab the letters.

    This would maybe…..maybeeee be a bargain if it could accept normal mail as well. But cheaper products on google lens tell me this is the same product for more $$ just local.

    Heads up, I bought one the these (the black one) and the top of the mail box has completely faded in the Australian sun after about 2 summers. Although it is power coated it’s not UV protected

    0.8mm steel, that sounds like the same thickness as a budget filing cabinet you'd buy from Kmart.
    It actually looks like a budget filing cabinet.
    Wouldn't this just rust then collapse under it's own weight in a year or two?
