Ugh, must be brewed in that same vat every other CUB beer is in Abbotsford.
Taste crap ever since they stopped importing them from the US.
Probably taste better, unless its made in South Australia
Spoke to a brewery rep. He said they had complaints about foreign beer brewed here. They had to fly samples of each brew back for approval as part of their license. No problems with the approval. They put it down to people being used to drinking less fresh beer after it arrived via sea.
Hops fade fast.
One year from bottling Best Before is too generous.
Same with Guiness. Anyone who says the stuff in Ireland tastes better hasn't thought about how long it takes and how much it gets rattled around in whatever temperatures to get <wherever>. It's the same stuff. They only brew it in Dublin.
It's also the only drink that makes me fighty so I don't have it often.

I remember the Qatar World Cup (Soccer) recently, when Bud was the 'official' (only) beer the Qatari's would allow.
At last minute, they said 'no'. One suggestion was to export it free to the winning country. One British wag described that as a 'cruel and unusual punishment' to inflict on winners.
