They Sydney Flames have qualified for their first WNBL finals appearance in seven seasons. Its an amazing achievement given the run of injuries and changes to the roster they have had to endure this season. Game 2 of the best-of-three semi-final series takes place this Thursday night at Quaycentre, Sydney Olympic Park. Its a sudden-death game for the Flames after they lost Game 1 of the semi-final on Sunday.

The team has been bolstered by the return of Australian basketball legend Cayla George who recently became the first WNBL basketballer to do the 5,000 point, 3,500 rebound double. A truly remarkable achievement.

Present at the game will be Lauren Jackson, who recently announced her retired from competitive basketball. Throughout the night there will be lots of prize giveaways including a number for homemade banners which have become a feature of Sydney Flames home games.

There'll also be the usual music, dancing, free-facepainting that make up a Flames game day. Lots of fun and an amazing atmosphere. Come along and help the Flames win through to the WNBL Grad-Final.
