    scanpan are average at best

    • Probably worth buying at this discounted price.

I use the Italian made Essteele stainless steel cookware which has a lifetime guarantee and seems better quality than Scanpan but also more expensive. I've used Scanpan at a relative's place.

May I ask what brand of cookware you use and recommend as better quality?

      • Rather le creuset

      • I’m currently using all-clad, so let’s see how the quality is

        • +1

All-Clad and Le Creuset are both premium brands and built to last. I also looked at them but ended up buying the Essteele set.

Less retailers stock All-Clad here. Currently I can find on Amazon and Peter's of Kensington.

The Belgian made Demeyere is another durable brand.

How does one find these deals before they the Ozb?

    • Stalk the new deals page and catch them before they go trending

      • +1

Maybe a dumb question, but where is the new deals page? I've been looking for something like that.

        • Hit the menu, deals -> new deals

This $30 Kmart unit does the same job for a lot less. I've been using it weekly for a couple of years now and it still looks practically new.

    • Does it feel thin is it hefty?

      • +1

It's not thin like a lot of Chinese pans, nor is it hefty. It's a good weight, IMO.
The small Scanpans I have are a bit too weighty when filled to move around with one hand easily, so I would not, say, buy one for my elderly mother.

        • wish kmart had steel frypans/skillet or ss saute pans. it baffles me they dont
