My apologies, is my confusion offensive that I mistakenly thought the model were a mannequin?

    • I thought the same!

    • So perfect that you thought the model was a mannequin or so stupid that you confuse a mannequin for a smiling man ?

      • are you triggered? :) who said I clicked the catch link?

        • -1

I apologise.. generally comments are made on the posted subject .. but you must be special or maybe I am "triggered"..whatever that means ..either ways you seem to have for some wierd reason saw it fit to comment on a post that advertises a T shirt on catch and expected everyone else to know what you were on about ..maybe do not …not everyone is as smart as you are

    • Mannequins do not smile in my limited exposure

    • Why would you think that?

  • Dang I think $77.99 for a polo is pricey, butbI get it. Ill skip this one.

yep pricey - hodl until they slip another clearance on it

I get it… and as an oz bargainer, the rrp at 160 plus is crazy.
But for me about 14 years ago I bought three on sale. All still in excellent condition with shape laregely unchanged and only issue is that they have faded.

I bought a couple of country road and a Blazer branded one near the same time for about 2/3s the price and they got holes in them at 5-8 years with similar use and have long been in the rag bin.

The fit me well and if I get similar life from them this time, they will be worth paying more for.

14 years ago, I would have agreed with you. These days the margin of quality between cheap and luxury clothing brands has shrunk like a wool jumper in the dryer

yep same here, i always thought you were paying for the brand but after 10 years of washing and wearing they still look like the day I bought them, whatever cotton they use it really holds up through the washing machine.

comparing to the $15 one i got from kmart, after 6 months the shape has stretched out and the cotton started pilling.

this applies to all their other clothing range I bought, oxford shirts and t-shirts.

hence even on second hand market they hold their value. see so many second hand oxford shirts still sell for close to $100.

Thanks Op. Bought one. Saved another $15 with code 15FORYOU.

    • Code doesn't seem to work for me.

I don't really keep track of fashion all that much but isn't this a really, really old design from PL that they don't do anymore? Like really old stock?

  • catch quality not good
