Seems to be $129 at Sydney Tools and Total Tools so perhaps this is not the extreme bargain OP suggests

I actually paid $70, because I negotiated it down in store (they’re usually keen to get rid of deleted stock). But you can’t post negotiated deals.

@McGeeski: I’d rather not, because they did me a solid in store and I don’t want the receipt splashed around every Bunnings store in Australia and potentially get the team member in trouble.
IN GENERAL, stores have discretionary power to discount quit/deleted stock beyond the system price. But it depends on who you ask, their mood, their level of authority, how likely that product is to move at the already discounted price, etc etc etc.

just talking to staff. i bought one screw gun for like 9$ it was the last one in stock for like 20$, and i was after a different model they just sold out, cheaper too. So the staff actually honoring me the one they have but a bit cheaper. i guess i was just lucky
Ive had great success if its the last item left or you're willing to buy all of the items left.
If you're making it easier for them they are more willing to help you out.

Seven hill store had 3 in stock. Bought one for $50. Tools shop guy called manager and without any negotiation, he himeself said $50 for the deleted item.
I struggle to find my bright yellow one, not sure how I'd go with a black one. 😂
