Metro is pretty quick AND reliable. It's the public transport we should've had 30 years ago

      • i was referring ng to the industrial action :-)

  • Free morning travel & complimentary breakfast snacks!

    • Let's go 😁 + a chance to win S25 Ultra and galaxy buds 3 pro …

  • +1

Only if we could stack coupons on regular public transport cost like Samsung s25 deals

    Im on a boat

Can I take my bicycle on board?

  • +1

Gee my boss won't be happy if I go Manly to New farm

  • +1

It may be more premium but at 30min vs 22min for the Manly ferry, it’s definitely not faster.

Ferry Commute on Galaxy Go Fleet - Manly..

Tony & Peter & ScoMo will intercept you half way & turn you back

With half baked subs and 2nd hand tanks…

  • That's op. Looks nice ferry and free breakfast. Even better if you win S25 Ultra and galaxy buds 3 pro from reading the website 😄

  • How do you get a ticket?

    • +1

From the looks of it, you just show up and hope there's space. Might pay to go early if you reallyyyy want that free breakfast (and competition entry)

  • +1

maybe they can use the ferries to deliver stock to jb hifi, pre-ordered the s25 from a deal here and didn't even get the phone on launch, and still waiting smh

  • Subway, the ball is in your court. Rideable Sandwich Sub on the river?

    For those who missed it

  • Curious to see how popular this will be

  • It looks like it's one way only.

    • Ohh, We can’t just jump on the return ride back?

      • The time table they published is one way only.

    • It's a commuter service. Commuters usually don't usually need to come back for another 8 hours.

  • Thanks op, gonna do it

  • Pity it's only Wed and Thu in Brisbane :(

    Edit - spelling

  • giving commuters a faster

It takes 20 minutes, the same as the Manly Fast Ferry.

    and more efficient way

Less passenger capacity means less efficient.

But marketing was never know for being honest.

  • Thanks for the $0.50!

  • The Brisbane times are a complete joke. 30 minutes from HSW to New Farm Park? You can just about walk there quicker. Same goes for West End to North Quay…the CityCat takes 19 minutes including 2 stops en route. Massive own goal by Samsung, as this is absolutely not quicker!

The schedule is indicative at best, the Samsung boat today came 30 mins early/late than advertised (8 am and 9 am instead of 7.10 am and 8.30 am). I waited 10 mins around the published departure time then left with a Citycat. People with jobs can't afford to wait 30-40 mins for a 20 min boat ride.

For anyone wondering, I took it this morning from West End. 7.10 one left at 8ish after changing location and with only four people. They engage you 100% and dont give much time to enjoy the ride or drink/eat. So it was time to get off before I knew it :)

    • What do you mean by they engage you 100% and most importantly. Any freebies? (apart from food and drink)

      • +1

Just talk to you about S25 nonstop. No freebies.

    • I was waiting for the 8.30 departure at West End too, the boat was nowhere near at sight, so I decided to leave with a citycat. From the ferry, I saw the Samsung boat, it seemed pretty empty, it was probably only a few people onboard. Not sure if I should try to take it tomorrow at 8 am or 9 am or just leave it. Is there any benefit of taking their boat other than the 50c saved on public transport fares?

      • I mean if its convenient for you, no harm right.

        • Not sure how many commuters will find a service that takes longer convenient. Maybe they should have done this on a weekend & done a set cruise along the river.

          • @Ham Dragon: Only benefit I see is, free food + potential chance of a new phone

    • Did u get a glimpse of the food? What's for breakfast?

      • Some juice, coffee and boxed bakery.

        • Was it good baked goods at least, what about the overall experience on board.

edit - I just saw your reply above.

        • Thank you! Good to know

  • Is the breakfast always available??
