There is a 3 cup version at Victorias Basement for 15$

    https://www.victoriasbasement.com.au/p/zuhause-arno-espresso…

PS: Been looking at this for a while, it's better to get the 3 cup one if you make it for 2 people or drink more than once a day yourself. 1 cup may be just too small?

1 cup is basically a sip. I saw this thing the other day and got excited but it is tiny, like a toy. (I usually split a 6 cup across 2 people in the morning).

      • Yes I should be fine with it I usually do half coffee half milk at least. So I need a strong concoction to mix in. But ya I agree it is tiny..still if it's too tiny then will return.

        • Use then return? What do you think happens to your "used once" coffee pot?

    • $18 for postage haha - Any ideas?

This is a moka pot, not a percolator. Moka pots make better coffee than percolators.

One “cup” means one shot of coffee, maybe 30 mL, so this is tiny. If you’re making coffee for two people look for a four or six “cup” moka pot

    • interesting.

The 3-cup mokapot also says capacity of 175mL, so maybe cup = 60mL?

      • Brewed coffee volume is less than capacity. I have a "6 cup" Bialetti moka pot, which can fit 300ml of cold water in the base, which brews approx 250ml of coffee. If you let it bubble through, spitting and spluttering you'll get more brewed coffee but will taste bitter.

A "1 cup" Bialetti brews 60ml of coffee. I would never get anything smaller than a 4 cup moka pot, and for what it's worth I wouldn't buy anything other than the original Bialetti. Named after the bloke who invented this particular coffee maker.

    Only states "Materials: Metal"
If made of Steel it will work with induction heating, otherwise won't.

Did a search elsewhere of model number
"Suitable for Most Stove Tops Including Gas, Ceramic, Halogen & Electric"
    But no mention of induction!

Cautious, as bought the wrong type before - aluminum. Didn't heat on induction.

  • One cup means what size is it?

  • Be careful in choosing the right one.I had to buy another Bialetti (a Venus) as my aluminium one won't work on an induction stovetop.Oh well, looks nice as a decoration.

    Aluminium, not stainless steel
