  Any good ways to use those small denomination that is left in the cards? I have a few now with some cents to couple of dollars. 7-11 only allows use of two max at any transaction. Thanks

    You can tell them at the register you want to split the payment and use the gc remainder as your firs amount. They can actually do more than 2 in one transaction but they just say 2 because they dont want to do more

      Ah fair enough. Thanks. And is there a way you track balance easily? At the moment I have added them in google wallet, subtract the used and name the card as balance.

            @Chatgpttrue: 7-Eleven digital gift cards can be used when paying in-store at Ampol-branded service stations. However, the one notable exception to this is if you are purchasing gift cards at EG Ampol service stations: EG Ampol has set up their checkouts to automatically reject 7-Eleven digital gift cards as a payment method if you are purchasing gift cards (e.g. WISH, Amazon).

            My understanding is that 7-Eleven digital gift cards also work when paying for fuel through the Ampol app (i.e. FuelPay) or the EG Club app. I am not sure if other apps usable at some other Ampol-branded service stations (e.g. Ruckus) accept 7-Eleven digital gift cards.

            I am not 100% sure on this, but I suspect 7-Eleven digital gift cards do not work at pay-at-the-pump machines at Ampol-branded service stations (which you only usually see at unattended service stations), as those are supposed to use MCC 5542 (Automated Fuel Dispensers), which is not listed as a permitted MCC.

      there is a limit of 3 or 4 from memory. the POS will tell them that the full remaining amount must be paid in the last split when it reaches the limit.

  So they can split the payments? I asked two 7 elevens as i just bought a $5 gift card to test and both times they told me they can't split the payment.

    I've bought dozens of these cards in the past and always ask for a split payment in order to use the remainder of the gift card without issue.

    Yes you can up to a maximum of possibly 3 cards. It depends on how well-trained and helpful the staff are.
