Some pretty phenomenal and consistent(!) pricings to mainland Chinese cities on Sichuan Airlines.
I've shown some cities, but they also fly for similar prices to most other major cities in China.

Also consider checking the Hainan Airlines deals to Beijing and other cities in China too.

Don't forget to see what accommodation is on sale

Sir, the CIA is being dismantled and you'll need to reapply for your position.

        • I come here for the deals. But also for the humour. 10/10.

I've travelled to Wuhan pre 2020 and I must say it is one quirky but fun city I do recommend it to anyone whos done all the other major Tier 1 cities across the PRC. Its worth a 3 day visit.

Are you saying Wuhan is very highly likely but low probability your favourite place?

If Trump did not use Bioweapon.

    • Hainan Airlines' planes are old and worn out; they are no longer a five-star airline.

I've booked Sichuan for September already. They are good value even in J.

For those who aren't aware, they fly direct to Chengdu, a city of 21 million that is known for pandas, and it's on a fairly new A350. And if you want to fly out of other Australian cities (e.g. Adelaide) they interline with Virgin. A few OTAs including trip.com and aunt betty can book the interlined flights.

Any deals on flights Sydney to Shanghai in September? Thanks 🙏 great work

Do a search and come back and post a deal if you find any.

  • Interesting. Are these fares via Chengdu or direct?

    • +1

      via Chengdu.
Some of those require transfer between two airports in Chengdu. Not a big issue as they are connected via a good metro train.

They've just cancelled original flight and rescheduled my flight to Beijing 5 days later… everything is already booked.

Not a good impression, especially when I told myself before trying them that it'll be okay.
