[SOLVED] How to Unplug This Type of Connector for Car LED Brake Light

Hoping someone could enlighten me on the correct way to unplug the green connector in photos below.

I tried pulling it but it won't budge, so just want a 2nd opinion before i unplug it by brute force / end up broken it.

There are 2 small holes on the black side of connector which look like some kind of 'teeth' that lock in place from the green connector, but they're flush so couldn't press it down.
I tried to poke it with sharp screwdriver while pulling the connector at the same time but it's not moving by a single bit and the 'teeth' kind of squashed by the screwdriver, so i don't think it meant to be poked.

Take something that’s flat head like a screw driver and press into the slot in black part where green shows ( there might be word for this lol)

When you press the green part will unlatch

This on a BMW?? Looks like part number: 61138380696 (you can Google it)

I would just use a very small, flat blade jewellers screwdriver under the lip of the socket near the retainer pin to pry it up and pull back on the "plug"… NOT the wire. Do NOT pull on the wires. At all. Oh, and wiggle it side to side as you pull out… (giggity)
