nbn FTTP Router Recommendations

Hi,

Looking at getting FTTP internet and seeking recommendations on what everyone is using for their modems at home and if I should be buying routers or a mesh, etc. Will be applying with Tangerine on the Speedy Plan (100/20). House is about 300sqm, 4 bedrooms and live in Western Sydney.

  You only need a router, not a modem.

  My setup is a ASUS RT-AX88U with a AX-55U setup in a mesh (On 100/25 connection),

  While you can't buy the AX88U anymore but the next best thing would be the ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX6000. Its currently on at all time low too.

  It means nothing, what's wrong with your current router? It also depends on the house build and the location of your router. what is your budget?

  I went from TP-LINK AX -5400 to Deco and saw a huge difference in coverage.

  Eero 6+
  no need for the 'pro' versions, the 6+ will have enough coverage at high enough speeds and they have ethernet ports at the back of each.
