      Hi I’m freefall and I was a victim of an Amazon cancelled order

      I had a knife on back order from Amazon for almost a year, they kept sending me emails asking if I wanted to cancel it, I wanted it because it was 60% off. After 7 emails saying they were still sourcing it, they cancelled it.

      I still wonder how much better my life would have been with that $20 knife and not the $30 one I bought instead.

    Something similar just happened to me with another item which was on a very discounted price on a flash sale. BUT, their records "say" that I cancelled the order, which I didn't. After insisting that I didn't cancel the order and requested that they recreated the order or give me the same discounted price, they rejected my requests, and offered a discount on lower quality / similar (to their eyes) products. Shame…

    Mine was cancelled too. It was pre-order, so I guess something doesn't go according to the plan and they cancelled it for everyone.

    I had no idea what this was about from the title. I first thought an alcoholic beverage or a cosplay costume. Then it was revealed in the slab of text that it's just a child's doll.

    Just like my $66.10 Startech 18U Server Rack that I ordered on Oct 22 with expected delivery on Nov 5. When they missed the delivery date, the product went to "Temporarily out of stock. Order now and we'll deliver when available." It was a bare Christmas that year. Then, on Feb 7, they sent an "Item canceled" email.

    I'm beyond furious. The only thing Amazon delivered for Christmas was disappointment.

    Purchaser of an undelivered product. Customer of a cancelled order. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next.
