What's with the weird image?
You mean the shirtless man holding a framed photo of a child's feet?
That's the one!
@EBC: Look closely it's not a child's feet at all. Its a man feet (quite dirty-gross) with "Band-Aid" applied to left heel.
Yeah that's creepy.
I think it's a person in a wheelchair, their heel has potentially caught of the back of the leg strap and caused an injury to the Achilles hence the band-aid.
OP might want to wear a shirt and shoes if they want to be taken seriously as a business…
Hey rep, I am sure these are nice pieces that could justify the price, but even after looking though the website I am not entirely sure what the "stone" component of these is. Is the photo printed on some kind of stone rather than paper?
That’s what I wanted to know too. Also is it that dangerous engineered stone that can kill people if breathing in the dust from it?
OnStone prints are made from reclaimed raw materials that are up-cycled and repurposed to innovatively create a simply beautiful art piece. The mix of reclaimed timbers and stone composite with specialist UV inks result in a fine art quality image that is scratch and water resistant, has uninterrupted depth and, as there is no glass, no reflection. The handmade OnStone prints are an individual and distinctive alternative to canvas, paper or glass prints, each with its own character and charm.
Sounds like it…
Please tell me this is a joke
This is creepy…
this is a discounts website
this is a wendys
this is a brothel
No deal.
Very expensive compared to competitors (100% Recycled Australian Timber, Australian Made): https://www.mulbury.com.au/collections/picture-frames/produc…
That is just the frame you have linked. The deal posted above is the frame plus your picture printed onto 'stone'.
I see. I did not get that part. On principle, I have revoked my neg.
I think it’s a really cool concept @NickMCG
Unfortunately too expensive for people to see as a bargain, when many don’t even understand what this is.
Don’t get discouraged by the downvotes, and keep up the independent local artwork and crafts going!
Agree. Some weird comments here and some people have downvoted illegitimately, probably can’t comprehend the product.
Probably expensive because it’s done by hand, by locals who are paid Aussie wages, and don’t have economies of scale going yet. That’s all good and wish them success growing. But yeah not sure it’s a deal/ bargain as per some of the comments.
Not really a bargain for what it is, more like just using OzB for free adz.
Cheaper options elsewhere.
