Just saw this on the Singapore Airlines website. The 10% discount isn't really anything to get too excited over, however the increased baggage allowances for Economy/Premium Economy/Business fares and free first booking change might come in handy for some.

Could you please elaborate that Which kind of staff?

      • School staff I am assuming

        I assume Witch’s Staff ?

  • How do you prove you are qualify for these ? Provide student or staff ID or email address when making the booking ?

  • Thanks OP, worked with my old (graduated) student account from uni!

  • +2

    Just setup/linked a student account.
Tokyo to Melbourne (One way) in mid to late April

    • Without student account/login:
      $1350

    • With student account:
      $1395

    • $45 for an extra 8kg luggage allowance sounds pretty cheap for a full-service airline.

      • +1

Maybe, but it's certainly not 10% off the standard economy fare.

Speaking to their chat, apparently that was a "dynamic fare", which is a type of "promo", even though it doesn't say anything of the sort on the page.

  • Will this work for group booking for two ppl, when one is a student ?
