Yahoo, start impregnating the body with microplastics early, get them used to it!
On a more serious note Thermos Funtainer can be had for similar price on clearances sometimes or only a little more expensive if you don't want to wait…
At this very moment https://www.amazon.com.au/Thermos-FUNtainer-Insulated-Whimsi… $16.99

Can't say I had 'impregnate children' on my OzBingo card today

Those plastics are everywhere in our environment anyway, no way to avoid it. Drinking from a plastic water bottle isn't the problem.

      • +2

I agree that there is no way to avoid it completely. It doesn't mean that if you give up and let everything go, even the things that are in your control the end result will be the same. You have a very lazy and deterministic approach. This is how people usually justify smoking, drinking, unhealthy eating and lack of excercise.

          And learning to spell

          • +3

@King Steuart: Ah, the spelling errors. Ultimate way to win any argument.

@Musiclover: Hey I was talking to a 20 year old on the weekend that blamed her primary years on her dyslexia and inability to spell. They gave up and let everything go with a very lazy and deterministic approach. I'm surprised autocorrect didn't pick up on exercise

              • -1

@King Steuart: Spelling errors don't affect your life expectancy or quality. I am happy to be lazy in that area and spare my efforts for something meaningful.

                • +1

@Musiclover: Wouldn't they somewhat affect your job aspirations and thus income and thus qualify of life and thus life expectancy?

                  • @King Steuart: Oh my god. But then one needs to put up with people like you at work and that will not be compensated with any level of income in terms of life expectancy.

                • @Musiclover: They probably affect it more than drinking from a plastic water bottle does.

        • It's a bit different to smoking, drinking and eating healthy. A very large percentage of these are coming from elsewhere, drinking from a plastic water bottle is a drop in the ocean. Smoking, drinking and healthy eating can drastically change your quality of life and longevity just by some small changes. I highly doubt drinking from metal instead of plastic bottles or whatever will have any real world outcomes.

          • @bleeder: Possibly, but it is only a couple of dollars more, that is it. Other things require more work.

Found that these leak through the straw lid, even when properly closed. Won’t buy again.

      • Only found that to be the case with anything carbonated. For flat drinks we never seem to have leaks unless the tips were split after prolonged use and were ready for replacement.

    • For the Thermos Funtainer, is the lower straw silicone or plastic?

    • This was sweet

    • Smoking? Or not smoking?

  • Seems to be even cheaper with onepass.

    • +1

Oh wow they have dropped further with OnePass to $17.46 before the 50% discount.

  • Got the brush. Thanks OP.

  • Showing as $69?

    • Will be reduced at checkout.
