  I have this, great set but be aware that it uses a different set of cups, lids and blades to the rest of their range so no spare parts are available, and the third-party ones you can find on amazon don't fit either.
  The model number is BN460 and is not compatible with the similar looking BN450, the blade underside has 5 fins but is larger than their other 5 fin models, and when I contacted customer service, they were unable to provide me with spare parts.

    That's a deal breaker. I have one of their older style portable blenders and the cup warped in the dishwasher. They don't make that model anymore, so it's impossible to buy another cup without buying the whole thing, and the cups from their new ones don't fit.

  Hi, I eat lots of veggies and fruit everyday but don't blend them - what potential am i wasting? I am deeply disheartened reading this as I try to be healthy. Can't believe i've wasted 20+ years

  Is this one loud? My current Ninja…. BL480 is the model I think… My cat and partner hate me using it and admittedly it's the loudest blender I've ever owned.
