Last night we went to KFC for the $1 chicken wings. Ordered 10 pieces, was in the drive thru for over 30 minutes with only 4 cars in front of me when I turned up. Ended up receiving 10 zinger fillets when I got home, not sure how that works lol. What a waste of food because we could only eat about half of them.

Anyone have issue where the kfc app keeps logging out on its own? I would browse to see what promo I have, switch to maccas app to check promo there, then back to kfc and it has logged me out lol

my issue with the app is the difficulty to contact or request a refund. You place an order and go to store to see an hour wait, should be able to click a button and cancel. But no have to do a contact us form.
More annoying and happened to me twice (CBD store), been incidents in the store, forcing them to close, but app continues taking orders.
Go to store and they cant bulk push refunds or contact HO, but instead we all need to contact KFC HQ
KFC has gone downhill, i cant taste any herbs or spices its just really tough chicken fried.
Could be Covid or your store. The 3x stores I've tried over the last year have been great for taste
Yeah the quality varies wildly depending on store, same applies to other fast food joints like Maccas, Hungry Jacks, Dominos etc

Yeah pretty sure on the box somewhere in the fine print it states something along the lines of them using 'emergency stock', which is frozen chicken pieces instead of fresh, probably because they ran out of chook…
I dont know how a chicken shop runs out of chook but it happens…
Their nuggets have always been one of their worst products. They're never crispy. Every single time I've had them, they have a soggier coating. They can do most of their other chicken well, just can't fry a nugget hey….
Agree. Imo, the nuggets TASTE better than McDonald's, but McDonald's always has much better texture. Actually crispy.

I prefer KFC nuggets, but my partner doesn't like them. Regardless I get nuggets more often from KFC due to sauce as I like a sweet chilli with my nugs and Maccas doesn't have one.

KFC nuggs are juicer, and are more real chicken like. Agreed they are not crispy.
Maccas taste more cardboardy but not noticable due to sauce.
Of the two I could not eat maccas without copious sauce.
Agreed, their coating is like paper thin so it gets softer faster in the steamy box. Maccas nugs have a thicker/crispier coating. If getting takeaway to eat at home, 3-4 mins in the airfryer at 160 degrees should wake them up.
The floppiness and sogginess is the thing I like about them. They feel like food. They don't need sauce to enjoy.
McDonald's amount of crisp makes me think I'm eating something that's not food, or at the very least, been sitting around for hours even if it hasn't, and requires sauce to enjoy.

What's the most value-effective way to add something like 2x reg chips to this for kidlets? Was thinking getting 2x wicked wing go buckets and eating the wings out of them for some variety.
