which shape paper filter did you get?
Size 4 Harris paper coffee filters from Coles.
Charlie Harper vibes from this
Does it make the coffee Christmasy?
Thanks op!
I’d love one of these. So 80s. We had one in our cupboard for years and as a kid, I got it going. But we only had International Roast, I had to ask my mum to buy ground coffee. 🤣 Friends also had them but some never used them. These drip coffee makers were in every 80s and 90s movie. It seemed like Americans would have a pot of coffee available all day and it’d stay warm (and stale).
Be good to automate so you fill up the coffee basket with filter and coffee tyre night before, then get it heated and percolated before getting out of bed.
I’ll continue making my moka pot each morning half asleep…
great deal thanks for posting sonofadiscount ^^). great price to try one of these machines. very cool
OOS
Damn - Been looking for one of these, now OOS.
$5 at Salvos.
Good luck with that.
While there not enough stock, I need to point out that "12 cups" is not a reference to 12 actual cups…unless it is 200ml/cup and has a 2.5 litre capacity.
ALDI has similar one weeks ago, at discount around 38 bucks. It names American coffee pot.
Just bought this last week from Bing Lee for $90 to use while I sort out repairing my Breville Bambino Plus. If you're into drip coffee this has been very nice combined with the Aldi Columbia coffee and a fresh grinder. Especially like the ability to set the timer to brew coffee automatically in the morning, a feature I have missed a lot since moving from Canada. Some people have advised the mesh is fine enough that you don't need a filter but I've found even with a fairly rough grind I was still getting some sediment and dropping in a paper filter with the mesh is brewing very well.
