I've been looking to buy a new fan and it's a tossup between this and this. I'm leaning towards the first one but I have no idea on whether it runs on battery only or if it can be run on both wall power and battery. One would assume it's the latter, but the cheaper version of the rechargeable fan explicitly says it cannot be used while charging meaning it's battery only.
Any Reviews on The Kogan SmarterHome Premium Rechargeable 3D Oscillating DC Fan?

Got the second one and been using it for a few years, makes the nights somewhat bearable…. So it has my approval. My harmony remote had a config for it too…
I don't. I'm just thinking to myself whether more blades = better.
The first one is Kogan's copy of the Xiaomi Pro. Comes down to whether you need occasional battery power. It will run when plugged in or unplugged with charge remaining in the battery.
Yes, but I'm concerned whether their copy can do both. And there seems to be very few reviews of the Kogan unit.
It's just like a smartphone, device operates and battery charges when plugged in. I checked the manual which says nothing about mains vs battery power.
You'd think so. I also checked the manual but not saying anything about mains vs. battery power doesn't necessarily mean that it'll work as you think.
I bought 2 Kogan fans. One was dead on arrival. It was a long, tedious process to get a refund.
Just bought the smart 3d oscillating dc fan and it arrived today, its decent, a little smaller than expected but moves air well. Connects with tuya app. Continues to run seamlessly when taking off and on charger.
I've got the second one and it is good. What the hell do you want a battery in a pedestal fan for?
