    • What kind of sad existence negs such a comment?

Bought this from previous deal but could not stand how it makes all my plastic container smell. Mind you this was a couple years ago so not sure if they have changed formulation since.

Since then have stuck with standard Finish or Logix.

    • True. Plastic containers will pickup the scent too and it will make everything taste soapy and bitter.

      Happy with woolies Shine tabs.

Logix Aldi dishwashing powder for under 4 bucks. SORTED

    • can't find platinum one on my nearest Aldi anymore

    • How many washes do you do with that?

    • it was >$6 yesterday.
how do you get them for $4?

    • They have changed it im pretty sure. Noticeable drop in how clean and residue free especially glassware. Trying others now.

      • Bought the Woolies brand powder last week for $3.50 and pretty impressed with it.

        • Is that Shine? I think that was one of the ones i bought for when get through the current stuff.

          • @Xizor: Yep that's the one. Same size bottle as Aldi but cheaper. Found it to be better

I've tried Aldi, Coles and Woollies powder and Woollies (shine) is the best. Clean, no residue, cheap. I have older tea mugs that stain easy and only Woollies will get the tea stains out.

ppl standards are different, but imo dishwashing liquid does not to anywhere close to a decent job in a dishwaaher.

Dishwashing liquid is designed to be high foam. Not a great idea in a high pressure environment. Stick to a detergent which has cleaning surfactants designed for a dishwasher

  • Aldi is cheaper every day!

This nis cheaper than aldi platinum, and arguably a better clean

  • Aldi basic ones are way cheaper and amazing clean… unbeatable

    • 14 cents , yeh way cheaper ๐Ÿ˜‚

  • Been using Aldi powder for years. A sprinkle at the bottom of the door and half fill the powder holder. Paired with finish rinse aid, can't beat it.
