Puget Systems Most Reliable Hardware of 2024

Puget Systems has released their annual Most Reliable Hardware report. Interestingly, Super Flower was the most reliable power supply OEM with only 0.1% of shipped units having failed in the field.

Super Flower is same tier as Seasonic so why is it interesting

I'm more surprised Kingston is on the list.

Be more interesting to hear about Biostar reliability and Allied Gaming power supplies as those are the Ozbargain components of choice in budget tech fast pre builts…

    Useless report.
Where is the actual data? What brands are included and not included?

Since it looks like they only sell pre-built systems, they probably only use cheaper brands and models of components.

Their "report" is anecdotal evidence at best.

Puget Systems Least Reliable Report of 2025

  • This report is completely and utterly useless. The "About our Data" section does not indicate how many systems we're looking at, how many orders involved, how many RMAs, what suppliers they deal with, how those suppliers handle their orders and returns, etc. Obviously Puget needs to preserve its bottom line, so doesn't deal with suppliers, parts and manufacturers that have high failure rates and bad reputations, and don't continue to stock parts with high failure rates once they're discovered so none of this is representative of anything. Honestly just noise.
