I tried a Dedica- kept it for two weeks then ditched it. Couldn't get even a half-decent espresso out of it using a non-pressurised basket.

The only card I found with price protection was Amex when I did a quick search and my NAB Rewards Signature card doesn't seem to have it.

I suspect this was originally a pricing error, or through now a different distributor. Showing in stock and page is now showing RRP of $429 and price (with 10% off) as $386.10.
PS. 50% discount from the sale isn't applied during checkout either.
