i would get something cheap from decathlon for a child beginner. Most kids would quit and then try another sport.
i would say this is a great racquet for speedy and quick high level play.
nanoflare was my first racquet when i started getting better at badminton. I now use astrox as i am more of a power smash player.

yes, but i would just get something cheap from decathlon until you start getting better and committed to the sport.
Probably this and not decathlon for an adult beginner, even if you decide its not for you later down the track.
You can resell this racquet for at least this price on FB Marketplace, but a decathlon racquet is worth close to $0 on second hand market.
Bear in mind, this is frame only, no string :)
