      Yes! very important to know. Oil based lubricants will eat away at latex so this needs to be kept in mind not just for condoms but for toys too.

      My hot tip - if in doubt stick to water based lubricant. Oil based is good for more intense activities(I honestly don't know how vague I have to be on here sorry lol) because it lasts longer however it does not absorb into skin and you need a special kind of soap to remove it from your skin. This is the kind of thing where if you have to ask, stick with water based. If you need oil based you will know.

    I know jokes and stuff because having sex is funny and whatever.. but genuine advice here: this stuff does expire, its not a best before. Expired use will result in bits of glob sitting everywhere, think similar to glue residue but not sticky, its an absolute pain to clean up and its a sensory nightmare for a massage lmfao.

    ETA My personal recommendation is wet stuff for water based and pjur for oil based.

    A lot of personal lubricants that are sold in pharmacies are trash.

    Avoid chemicals like parabens and glycerine.

    This one has fragrents and glycerin, don't use it as a personal lube.

    If you don't need to use water based lube, get coconut oil and it works really well as a massage oil too.

    If you must use water based, get stuff like Sliquid, specifically the H2O or Sassy.

    Life is too short to spend on cheap lube
