What will stop me getting my cashback

  • Cashback for BIG W Market is eligible only on items that display the BIG W Market logo and "sold by" branding.
  • Cashback will only be awarded on purchases $50 and over.
  • Important: When a cap is specified in the cashback rate, it will apply per member and/or per Woolworths customer for the length of the promotional period. As an example, a $100 cap running alongside an increased cashback lasting 3 days will allow for a maximum payout of $100 per member and/or per Woolworths customer for the 3 days of the promotion. Woolworths can decline transactions at its discretion based on these terms. TopCashback has no control over this process.
  • Any orders made from outside Australia or perceived to be made from outside Australia (ie. using a VPN) will have cashback declined. Discretion rests with BIG W (not TopCashback).
  • BIG W Market products are sold and shipped by BIG W Market Sellers. BIG W Market items are delivery only and not available for pickup from BIG W stores or any other location. The BIG W 90-day change of mind returns policy does not apply to BIG W Market products and BIG W Market product returns cannot be processed in BIG W stores. Check the relevant BIG W Market Seller’s returns policy by navigating to the product and clicking on “BIG W Market Seller”. Lay-by is not available on any BIG W Market products.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of any codes not approved and posted by TopCashback.
  • Cashback is ineligible on use of gift cards for payment and/or purchase of gift cards.
  • Cashback is ineligible on purchases made via the retailer's mobile app.

What else is essential

  • Purchases through 'BIG W Market' will register in your TopCashback account as 'BIG W'.
  • Engaging with plugins such as Honey, AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, VPNs, and browsers such as Brave may prevent your order from tracking.
  • You must always return to TopCashback and click the pink cashback button through to the retailer's website for each new transaction. Ensure the TopCashback link is the last one used to visit the retailer's website prior to completing your purchase.
  • Any accounts that engage in fraudulent orders/activities to game/cheat the cashback system will be banned and cashback forfeited.

Good to know

  • Most retailers calculate cashback based on purchase amount excluding GST, other taxes, and delivery fees. Your cashback may report lower than expected due to this.
  • If an order is cancelled / returned / exchanged / modified, it will no longer be eligible for cashback and will be declined in your account.

    My Woolworths market place orders have been rejected yet the process was followed 100%. Be very cautious. Search for previous Woolworths market place promo an dyou'll see many similar comments.

      100% same happened to me twice with BigW. They say another promo has been paid and decline to pay the cashback agent. Third time I screen recorded. Looks this they’re systematically doing this. Crooks!

    What is meant by the "sold by" branding?

    I want to buy an item that displays the Big W Market logo, but is "sold by" a marketplace seller that is not Big W but another company?

    Is this item eligible for the 25% cashback?

        Cashback for BIG W Market is eligible only on items that display the BIG W Market logo and "sold by" branding. If it doesn't have the BIG W Market logo, you're buying from BIG W direct and won't track at the increased rate.

        The term refers to the two red ticks on this screenshot. If they're on the item you want, you're good to go (provided it's $50 or more)👍

          My last purchase didnt track and tried to claim missing cashback got no reponse.

                @nerd1: If you don't add a code (eg 10% discount code), then it wouldn't affect cashback. Your rewards membership details in the background would be fine.

      • I can confirm that that's not been my case because my cart containing the Big W Market item has the discount applied to it. My question to TA is if the code will void the cashback tracking

        • That's interesting. I could not get the code to work on different items although not on the excluded list. May I ask which items the code works on? I was buying without cashback.

            Hey guys. Please note that even though a code 'may' work and the transaction 'may' track, Woolworths will decline all transactions that utilised a code when they validate sales, as they did in bulk with EMNEW10 for Everyday Market.

            We don't have any codes listed on TopCashback for BIG W Market, so please proceed at your own risk. Cheers!

      Yes from "BIG W MARKET" sellers e.g. this seller. Maximum cashback is $100. Look for the logo "BIG W MARKET" on the PS5. Please see TA's comment on what to look for.

    Thanks heaps for flagging. Without your input, issues like these would not surface right away. I have no idea what's happened at this stage, but looking at reports, it appears Woolworths has declined all recent BIG W Market transactions. I'm hoping this is an error (must be), and appears to be the same issue as the recent Everyday Market declines. I've just emailed them and will provide an update here as soon as I hear back. All I ask is to please be patient while we investigate. Thank you.

      Update as promised. Just received a response from Woolies. They're aware of a system error that caused all transactions from January 1 onwards to revert to $0 sale value and $0 commission causing them to auto decline. They are investigating as we speak so please don't worry, these will be fixed. I'll update here as always when I have more info. Apologies on their behalf. Thank you.

          Hi again. As we've yet not received a further update from Woolies, I've gone in and manually reverted all affected transactions to pending to help stop the influx of enquiries through our ticketing system. If you check your accounts now, you'll find the transactions showing as pending. Unfortunately I can't re-apply the purchase value & cashback yet as this was revoked by Woolies and I have no way of working out what it was. Anyway, please know I'm all over it and will update further when I know more. Have a wonderful weekend :)
