Looking to buy a colour tank printer that has adf and 2 sided printing.
After suggestions looking under $500 if possible.
So many options and so many mixed reviews.

Was thinking of EcoTank until I looked at ProductReview where they get slammed…
Same. So Confused as to what is good and what isn't
EcoTank
I've been using them for many many years…. Probably saved > $1000 in ink over that time.
I have both a colour laser Fuji Xerox (CM215 - old i know) and an Epson ET3700 ecotank.
I find the print quality overall better on the laser printer. While the ecotank is ok, it has a duplex function which is a must in 2025. As for running costs, both are pretty cheap to run. I've bought new OEM toner/ink from Marketplace as well which makes it very economical. The laser is faster as well.
I have noticed that Epson has shrunk the newer ink bottles compared to their older series. For example, mine use 502 ink. Black comes in a 100+ml bottle. Newer models come with a 70ml bottle which would impact yield/cost.
sorry whats a tank printer?
Ink tank
still have no idea what tank is refering to
The ink tank
@Nonna75: what is ink tank? are you talking about the inkjet cartridge?
@sandman20104159: Continuous ink tank printers, there's no cartridge.
You just fill up the tank that directly feeds the printhead; https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/c/technology…
OP, might be worth reading through some previous deals here; https://www.ozbargain.com.au/search/node/ecotank%20type%3Aoz….
I can't offer any advice on which one as I currently use refillable tank/cartridges.
@neo: ha i never knew there was refillable ink cartridges and that they were called tanks… i guess its because i dont have a printer at home, i just use the ones at work for my printing needs
So i am down to picking between. Epson ecotank et-2850 $400 and canon gx1060 $355.
Has anyone had either of these and can comment of them.
Look at the Epson range on thr website. Been using the lowest/cheapest one for over a year and very happy.
