Hi all, my boss has kindly given everyone at work $300 worth of gift cards as a bonus.
Unfortunately for me, I don't go to these shops at all. I mainly go to Colesworths, ALDI and Bunnings.
Apart from selling it at a loss on Gumtree or Facebook Marketplace, is there another way to redeem the full amount?

Just to be clear, are you saying you do not shop at all at any of the 125 participating retailers in this list? If so, here are a couple of suggestions:
You could try to purchase a gift card at one of these participating retailers. This is against the terms and conditions of the Ultimate gift card scheme (and is automatically blocked by Officeworks' checkouts), but some participating retailers will probably still let you get away with this (especially if you only tell the staff member you want to use a card or Visa card). JB Hi-Fi has the "widest" range of gift cards available for purchase, but "widest" is a relative term, because they appear to only stock gift cards related to gaming and entertainment.
You could try to purchase a SIM card at one of these participating retailers (e.g. Officeworks, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys). At these three stores, you should be able to do split payments when transacting in-store, so if your SIM card ends up costing more than $300, you should be able split between the $300 gift card and another payment method (e.g. a credit/debit card, cash).
Failing that, I think you do not have a lot of options. You could re-gift the gift card to someone else or see whether you have trusted friends or family going to one of these stores already seeing whether they will give you $300 (or something close to that amount) in cash in return for the gift card. Personally, I would not try to sell or exchange a gift card via Gumtree or Facebook Marketplace or the OzBargain, because of the horror stories that crop up from time-to-time, but I have a low risk appetite!

You are correct. I don't shop at these outlets unless I have something specific that I need urgently i.e washing machine or refrigerator - which I don't buy often.
