Ive got a similar one to the right angled tool from ali express. I use it only to remove weeds in between paving. I wouldn't say the tool is perfect for removing the entire weed every time but it does allow you to really dig out the dirt around the weed to help you get a better pull. It can also hook under everything whilst you pull. If i cant pull out the roots i use the sharp edge on top to damage the root as much as possible.
I have one, it works well, can easily pull weed with root attached from small cracks.

Better to use your hands. These tools only have edge cases which can be solved with other tools you probably already have.
The curved tool has been awesome for removing a recurrent weed i get that has a small carrot-like root, but easily breaks above the soil. You basically dig the tool down in front of the root, and pull back and out and the reverse hooks dig into it and give decent traction. Better than anything else I've found anyway, also works on most other small weeds

Why don't you just use weed killer? That just kills all plant life on the tiles and stops them from coming back.
Boiling water or a steamer works for me. Burner is a distant next.
Has anyone here used one? They look totally hopeless for pulling out with roots still attached. They only look good for beheading weeds which is pointless
